Bio: Álvaro Fernández Cencerrado, a Psychologist from Madrid, began his career in gaming psychology through his YouTube channel. This led him to various gaming environments, fostering collaborations with esports teams and professionals in mental health. His channel evolved into Gamewell – The Healthy Approach to Gaming, offering help, training courses and prevention programs. Álvaro also collaborates with the esports club Team Queso and works in online psychotherapy. In 2021, he published his first book “Video Games: The Last Black Mirror” and is soon releasing a systematic review on the impact of video games on academic performance in collaboration with the Official College of Psychology of Madrid.
