"The Healing Power of Attunement"

Many clinicians are trained to focus on symptoms and behaviors, but little attention is given to the power of deeply attuning to our clients. In this sacred space of attuned connection, we can better understand our clients and help them connect to the deeper traumas, beliefs, and experiences that underlie their maladaptive behaviors. In this experiential workshop, TJ Woodward will explore how to help clients access their inner-wisdom and heal from multiple layers of unresolved trauma, spiritual disconnection, and the toxicity of shame.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Describe two strategies for holding space
  2. Provide an example of results from deep attunement
  3. Explain the difference between active and ordinary listening
  4. Explore the role of authenticity and vulnerability in the treatment process and therapeutic relationship
