Speaker:

Moira is a psychotherapist who runs her private practice near Henley-on-Thames. She specialises in exploring hidden and buried childhood wounds and the inevitable impact these have on the relationship with self that we carry into our adult life. This issue was initially evident to her in her first career as a family lawyer. She also spent several years delivering a successful and effective online addiction programme for a London treatment centre where again these issues were apparent. The power of these generational wounds and the inevitability of them passing down through families has become even clearer in her own personal recovery from alcoholism over 30 years where she has explored, uncovered and healed from many of her own childhood wounds. This deep awareness directly informs how she is in relationship with all her clients and is the key to profoundly effective therapeutic change in her clients.
